i just wanted to post about what a good week i had.  usually i am the one traveling and if my BF has to travel it is while i am gone too.  this week i was working in the area close to home and the boyfriend was away traveling.


i forgot how. much. fun. it is to have an apartment to yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


monday night i went to my friends house and hung out with her until 11....


tuesday night i put my jammies on and watched reality tv all night long (which the BF hates) and ate PF Changs.... mmmmmm


wednesday night i hung out with my someday-sister-in-law and ate steaks on the grill and drank beer...


and i just had so much fun not having someone else around all the time.  i miss that and don't get enough alone time (even though i travel for work- i like alone time at home)... it was fun!!!!

I agree, alone time can be fun!! That's awesome that you got to enjoy some time to yourself and your girlfriends. While it's obviously nice to be around the bf a lot, I secretly like how, when he's working on weekends, I can sit around in my pajamas and watch Sex and the City episodes on DVD and all kinds of other shows he doesn't like!

Oh yeah - I love weeks like those. Even without a SO at home, it's still so nice to have those days where you're not rushing around with a ton of stuff to do and can actually enjoy your evenings home from work. I love those!!!

Ha bex!  This totally sounds like me when my b/f is out of town.  I always feel ebarrassed watching what b/f would call "horrible tv" when he is home.  When he is gone I binge on reality tv, one tree hill, the OC, etc.  It is SO much fun.  (I AM a huge dork - I promise)

I completely agree. My bf is going to be out of town on business for the week next week, so I'll have the house all to myself.  I can watch whatever I want to on TV without any whining! I can have a Golden Girls/Friends/Felicity marathon and no one will be complaining in the background about wanting to watch the game. Woohoo!! 


Of course, I get freaked out in that big old house at night.  I sleep with the lights on.

Ooh, this sounds so nice! Lol, I love having a dorm room to myself I can't wait to have someone to share a house (life) with, but at the same time, it's so nice to have time when you don't have to worry about looking/acting 'right'

Ha Ha - this is me too!  When my b/f is out of town I have to leave the bedroom closet door open b/c if I don't I swear I can see light coming out from under the door.  So either our bedroom closet is the gateway to an alternate very bright universe or I am insane
