my best friend bought some of that stuff for the same reason as you are looking at it. she has really small almond shaped eyes and has a hard time keeping eye make-up on... she HATED she-laq.... i tried it once at her place for my lips and it has this weird hardening feeling.
i will email my best friend right now and ask her what she uses for eye make-up now because she did find something that stayed... i'll get back to you!
I use it and love it. The key is not to put too much on. You have to let it dry thouroughly or it will smudge, but it will set your eyeliner and it lasts until you wash it off. I never have smudging or running when I wear it. I've only worn it on the top but never the bottom though.

sfclinevandy - be honest, is it a pain to use this stuff everyday - does it take a lot of time? Also, do you think it'd be ok to use on the bottom lids?
Thank you both for your input! Bex - please let me know what your friend uses - I really appreciate it.
this is what my friend wrote me back with: "As of now I just let my makeup bleed all over the place, b/c I don't care. I would tell her to use that product you recommended--the eyeshadow base. and of course, putting loose powder on top of your makeup always makes it last a little longer, too. And they do have "all-day" liquid liners..."
i'm afraid she wasn't of too much help. but from watching her do her make-up when she actually cares... she would put a base on, eyeshadow, liquid liner and then powder on top of that to "set" it.
sorry she wasn't too much help!!! oh and she did also mention that she wasn't too impressed with she-laq... but SFC was- so it would be worth a shot to see if you like it!
I don't use it every day, but I do use it whenever I wear eyeliner. It's super easy to use because it's clear and dries in about 30 minutes. The trick is to put it on lightly. I only use it on my top lids (that's the only place where I have smudging issues), but I guess you could use it on the bottom too. You can also use it to set your brows and lips (which I don't like because it's too much of a seal but that's just imo).
Could you go to Sephora or a department store that sells Benefit before buying it? The SAs may have more helpful advice/suggestions too.
thanks sfclinevandy for the info. i actually went out and bought Revlon Colorstay eyeliner and it is awesome! It has not smeared or budged at all..I know you're the one who recommended it - so thanks!
