Ok I have been using my school email to receive important emails for my new job because it is a little more professional than using my yahoo account.  Well I haven't printed out all the emails they sent me concerning training yet and I can't get into my school account (the system is down).  I'm not sure if I need those emails so I'm sorta panicking. 


Should I just calm down since my school server should be up and running over the weekend since first day of school is monday and it has to be up or should I email work from the yahoo account and ask for them to resend me something (I'm thinking not a good option since I'd look like an idiot before the first day)? I don't know anyone else going to training so I can't ask a friend for forwards either.

I am an over-analyzer, so I can completely relate to your situation.  You should simply ask to have the training forwarded to your yahoo account and briefly explain the server issue.  I don't think this is unprofessional, unless your yahoo address is like pinchmybutt@yahoo.com, which in case you should just set up a new account that is your frist initial + lastname or something to that effect.


If you don't ask to have the info forwarded to you, you may risk being unprepared to the training, which would be much more unprofessional.  (you never know when the school server will be back in business)

Thanks yall.  I just sent an email explaining it all so hopefully they will respond to me or the school server will get back online.  I know which airline it is and the basic time so I'll just have to go from there.
