Ok, I am due to go back to hell.. I mean work.. in 2 weeks.  I have had a few interviews and I am due to go back for 2nd interviews as soon as people get back from vacation.  With that being said, I don't know if I am going to get to interview with these people before my 2 weeks is up.  I have 2 weeks vacation at work - I am considering taking it so that I don't have to go back for another 4 weeks (and I'll get more time with my kiddos), but if I don't get a job elsewhere, I will have to go back to that god forsaken company with no vacation time for my honeymoon next year.  My friend thinks I shouldn't take the 2 weeks and just call out sick so I can go interview..

I would go back and call in when you have to interview.  After all, if you leave you don't get paid out on the sick days, but you do on the vacation:).

call in sick and if anybody calls you out on it, cry and plead mild post-partum depression.

Call in sick and save your vacation time - I agree with Farrah that if you stay you'll have it for your honeymoon but if you leave then they have to pay you for it!  Who has a better excuse than "I just had a baby" for calling in sick !
