Quick questions. Is 19"x 11'' too big for a leather bag? 18" x 8.5" ? I'm thinking about investing in some pricey (for me) bags, and it seems the ones I like are huge! The one I'm really lusting after is the "leather bag" that Rachel Bilson has in Sept. Lucky.

i whipped out my tape measure and eyeballed those measurements. it might seem kinda big, but i think it's completely doable, especially if the material is slouchier, which will make it seem much smaller when not-filled-to-the-brim. but then again, it also depends on what you're going to use it for.


i have a jack gomme tote that's 17.25 x 13 which is perfect for everyday use and was handy when i needed to lug around books and even my laptop.
