Help finding a wrap sweater (not wrap cardi)
Permalink Closed

I am having a hell of a time finding a wrap sweater. Even a faux wrap sweater will do. I set out wanting one in merino wool or cashmere, but will now settle for just about any fabric. I am hopeful for cobalt blue, eggplant purple, or red.

I am not looking for a wrap cardigan, which seems to be all the internet has to offer me today. cry

TIA!

I'm not getting what the difference is between a wrap cardi and a wrap sweater. Are you looking for something like this?

as opposed to this?

Exactly. It seems so many are a cardigan with a belt/tie.

I'm looking for a top that is a sweater that wraps around like a wrap dress. I'll even wear a faux wrap so long as it has a cute little tie.

I thought so. I wear them a lot actually. They work really well with jeans and straight skirts. I bought a bunch at H&M in the past, but I don't recall seeing any there this weekend. I'd keep my eyes on H&M as the season goes on though.

If you want to try ebay, I'd search H&M & J Crew items (JCrew had them maybe 5 or 6 years ago in cashmere.)

They are hard to find now! I did a shopstyle search and this is what I found.

I second the ebay suggestion- seems like that particular atyle is hard to find now- shame really! But you can probably get one new with tags for a steal.

I used to get mine from Benetton and Benetton outlet (used to stock a ton of them on the sweater wall in a bunch of colors). Could be worth a check if there is one in your local mall- all three of mine have held up very well over the years (lambswool)
