I find that I carry my brown most often (dk brown) & then I change between my pink, black, and straw bag in the summer about evenly. For the fall I predict I will be using black, bronze, and I want a new green bag. I don't really like "matching" my purse, so I try to change it often to something that compliments my outfit but doesn't match it.

I don't know any black bags (other than clutches).
I was just working on my closet inventory (something I've been doing when I have free time during the slow summer months.. so I don't accidently buy one of something I already have).
I would say I carry dark brown bags the most. I also have been using my sage Bulga alot more than I thought. It goes with everything, but I think it depends on your wardrobe.
I wear alot of black and natural/neutral colors... so my dark brown little trigger works the best for me.
I really want to get a black leather bag but can't decide.
i'm really colorful when it comes to bags. i love my fuschia mj sophia and i carry it a lot--it's surprisingly versatile. same goes for the light green (called honeydew i think) mj small hobo, very very versatile. greens in general are like the secret color that go with lots of outfits. let's see, what else? the kooba sienna in luggage, get tons of wear out of that...
funny enough the one black bag i own gets the least wear--prada quilted satin, only for evenings, really.
Out of Neutrals I use black the most. I am not sure if you would consider this a color or a neutral but I carry my gray bags a lot,I find they complement most colos very nicely.
Other colors I use the most are:Pink, Green, and Purple.
I also have a zebra print bag I carry a whole lot. That I like to use to make a somewhat boring outfit pop.

I'm really not terribly adventurous when it comes to purse colors. I switch pretty evenly between my black (Moschino shoulder purse with heart buckle closure) and brown (LV Speedy 25). I also own an ivory one that's the size of Texas (T-bags slouchy hobo) but I find I don't wear it as much because of its size and the casual nature of the shape.
I would love to get a plum bag, but I really want an investment piece since I've always really loved plummy/aubergine colors. Unfortunately I can't afford to get one this year.
Honestly, I'm not really a handbag person at all. I rotate mine depending on my mood. I'll carry one for a month or two and then switch off. Right now, I'm carrying my bronze bag as my everyday purse.
I don't have one specific color since I'm always switching between bags. This summer it's mostly been my white leather bag. This fall and winter I will switch between the berry suede, black leather, and the metallic chocolate one I just got. Still will be searching for a real brown color leather bag.
i'm not much of a purse person either...oh the joys of being a commuter. most of the time i carry either a gray tote from old navy or a loop tote that's purple with a picture of the sunset on it. in the summer i also use an ivory purse, and in the winter i have a camel canvas bag. i hope to invest in a nice leather purse and will probably purchase it in brown or some color other than black.
Brown, most often right now. It's a lighter brown...like chestnut, maybe. I also have a black patent leather frame bag that I've been carrying a LOT for the last two years. I am not a *huge* purse person, but I am getting there - have green suede frame bag that I am waiting to use when the weather gets a little cooler, and also a cute red purse - it's more fun than functional though, so it doesn't get rotated as often.
