Last year we met up at Fulton Lounge on a Saturday night.  I am going to the grand opeing party at Lucky Strike Lanes tonight and I was thinking if that is good it might be fun to check that out this time.  That way we can go a little earlier and if someone like itsapinkthing wanted to join us she could because we wouldn't be at a bar. 


I definitely suck at bowling, but I think it is totally fun anyway:).

That does sound like fun, I have always wanted to check that place out! And I think it is very nice not to exclude the under 21 group. Keep me posted on details.

I didn't even think of the under 21 group.  It was more because she is preggers:).


Oh and I don't mean the Lucky Strike on Lincoln (They are changing the name by the way), I mean the new one on Illinois.

Oh my gosh, I didn't even think of that! And I am in that step in my life where my friends are all becomming pregnant. I have 2 friends right now who are, but I didn't even think of it! Well, it's nice for them too!

That place looks really nice, I hope that's where we end up going. I think it would be really fun.

Who else has not responded yet besides Vanessa, domkfox, and shopgirl82?  I am going to PM the 3 of them so they know about the thread.  Once we know who is in and/or out we can try to set a date and an activity.

I'm totally in! I think bowling sounds super fun.
We should try to pick a date soon. I've a wedding this weekend, out of town guests the next and I'll be out of town the wkd. of Sept 16 for another wedding. So, either this Sunday or the wkd. of Sept. 10 would be ideal for me.
If we need to take it further, I'm free almost every wkd. the rest of the year, save the 1st two in October.
I can't wait to see you all!

Okay Ladies - I am going to attempt to start taking availablity from everyone.  Why don't you all PM your availability to me for the next 4 or 5 weekends on Saturday and Sunday.  When I have everyone's I will look at the 3 best dates and then we can do a vote.  Also please let me know what time you would prefer to go.  If you could all get back to me by Monday that would be super!


These are the specifics of the bowling alley:


$4.95/game before 5 pm
$5.95/game from 5 - 9 pm
$3.95 for shoe rental


They have a full menu from 11 am - 1 am with lots of options at a good price.  You can check it out on their website that I posted below.  Oh and you don't have to bowl to come.  You can just hang out with us and chat if you want to.  As I stated before though, if that fact that you are a terrible bowler is stopping you don't let it.  The last time that I bowled my 5 year old nephew beat me - that's how bad I am, HA!!  I also just remembered that tri_sarah_tops lives in the burbs so I am going to PM her and make sure that she knows about the get together as well.

Farrah, I got your PM; thanks for thinking of me!  I've actually been busy at work lately and I totally missed this thread.  I'm definitely interested and I'm free most weekends, although I'm not sure of my availability because I'm going to visit my family soon.  I'll vote when you post the dates. 


Don't feel bad about your bowling skills.  I really suck!
