I think those stella shoes are so hot...I tried them on in the hopes of getting them for myself in June but they weren't on sale then, But honestly, you're in NYC and I don't know how much use you'd get out of them...If you were in a warmer climate I'd say yes but you've gotta spend money on more fall/winter stuff, right? Consider the funds saved from not buying the Stellas earmarked for the Mackage coat fund.

aarg this is so hard. i think i'm being blinded by the label (i'll admit i'm being a label whore) and the serious discount, right now they're $86 which isn't cheap, but for what they are it is. i think i'll go visit them again tomorrow on my lunch and see if they've marked them down more.

omg i love every pair you posted. i have those kors in a solid dark metalic brown (possibly the same ones as you purchased). i am so jealous you got those frye boots. i've been flip-flopping on the color choice between saddle and dark brown.

seriously, last week there was this photo shoot going on right by my office, and i saw those shoes on the model.. i wanted to run right to barneys and buy them. if they are seriously discounted, definitely get them.

i am green with envy!

so the fashion gods decided that the stella wedges were not for me *sigh* it's for the better i guess. i did get my fryes in the mail today and they are seriously gorgeous. they're a pretty penny (i was fortunate to snag a pair from ebay). but if you're considering a pair they are soo worth it. the leather is so soft and nice, it's like handbag leather. plus the cuff can be turned up, which makes them infinitely more versatile.
