I just got rejected for an internship b/c there was a 'more qualified' candidate. WTF????? I have a degree!! Who the hell is more qualified as a student? WTF! WTF!! WTF!!! WTF!!!!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!

Oh no! I am so sorry!  That clearly is not a company that looks at the candidates clearly.  Didn't they see what Chandler did on Friends in his intership!- I have to try to make you smile!

I seriously don't understand. Am I really an untalented boob and I'm just clueless about it? If so, why have I had such good internship experience and feedback in the past? And why have I won awards?  I just don't understand. WTF! I just want to cry. I don't understand why I'm having such a hard time.

Nylabelle, that totally sucks!  You are too good for THEM! 


Look at it this way, though:  somebody with even more experience than you is applying for internships.  That means that until a day or few days ago, this poor woman/man was probably in the same situation as you, not using their skills, making coffee for lazy @ssholes, wondering what the heck they even got an education for...  You are not alone.  I really hope things work out for you.  Hopefully, not getting this job will mean you will still be available when something better comes up.  Good luck!

they always give vague answers like that, but it doesn't mean your talent is somehow less!  the other candidate just had something else that interested them, it could be anything from referrals to personality to experience.  Don't worry about it because whatever it is, you will get yours too, and hopefully even better!!

NylaBelle, I think someday you will be a millionare.  Everytime I read a story of how someone became rich, they went through struggles like you have been going through & BAM! One day they get their big break & become millionares or very successful.

Haha! I hope you're right! I read an article yesterday on MSN about 'the millionare next door' and how to get rich. It was amusing.
