So every season I invest in at least one nice bag.
This year I'm leaning towards a Botkier clyde
I'd never seen it IRL so I didn't realize till recently that it was a tote I may be ok with a tote but I really was looking for something I can throw over my shoulders any suggestions? I'm specifically looking for a black bag (it seems like I always am ) Here are the ones I'm looking at thus far -Stirrup - Andrea Brueckner
http://www.mulberry.com/ I can't post a pic of this one...but it's the Roxanne If you have other suggestions outside of this...let me know..I am willing to spend up to $1000 (but would rather keep it around $700 !)
i love all your picks! my personal favorite is the stirrup. in person it's so hot and i love botkier leather. i feel like it's the most functional (at least for me). imo, the andreas don't look as luxe in person... i mean luxe but not as rich or buttery as botkier.
also i'm intrigued about the strap they are now shoing with the clyde (kinda balenciaga style). without the strap it's definitely a wrist only bag.
although it looks like the stirrup got more votes.. I think I'm leaning more towards the clyde again.. I lug around A LOT of crap...so I need something that can hold all of it.. I see the Mulberry got no love oh well!
i've seen the mulberry in person and it's kind of meh, when i went to look at it again, the site told me that my screen res. was too low.
I personally think the Mulberry is the cutest of those... I would get it for myself if I had the cash. You also don't see a lot of Mulberries in the US, which is a plus in my book. Here are some pictures. I also love it in dark brown, which is on the website...
Is it? Ahh ok...yeah I've never seen it in real life..and I'm a firm believer that if you are going to pay all that money for a bag..it ought to show. I know luch has a knockoff of the same bag. Which I'm not opposed to..I'm just saying.

it's hard to explain, for all intents and purposes it's a cute bag, but it doesn't really catch your eye. not that it should be flashy but it should in some way reflect the money you pay for it in terms of overall richness. it's the priciest one right?
I love the bag in person, and I'm always in search of the classic leather bag. It's great, but it definitely doesn't scream "worth $1,000" to me.
I've been hearing good things about Mulberry fakes from a certain iOffer seller... I was flirting with getting one because the buyers stated that the leather was very good quality so if you don't care that it isn't "Mulberry" you may want to check it out. (I'm really not down with fakes but I feel like who cares about Mulberry and it's not that recognizable yet).
honey- yeah we are on the same page ..I agree. Yup, it is priceist. So if you say it doesn't really have the "umph" factor..I trust your judgement and I'll save the extra $400+ dollars..for something else
Renee- thanks! that was my thinking initially (it being less common)..but maybe one day I'll happen upon 1200k and I'll be able to get it
