That is a reaaaaaaaally beautiful, unique top!  It looks like it could be an all-season piece, depending on what you wear it with.  If it fits you well I would go for it .  Such an enabler I am...

That is gorgeous!  It reminds me of one at Anthro that's like $175.  And I like the colors of the one you found more!  I want it now!

I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! it, it's absolutely beautiful!!! First thing that caught my eyes were the pretty, bright colors and the print - WOW! I say GO FOR IT!!

I saw it on a girl on Nickelodeon one day, but it looked less floaty on her than on the model in the pic.


I personally love the one at Anthro.  I also found a very similar one at F21 if you are okay w/ buying from there.

i can't believe i'm about to say this....


but that top i don't find to be too cute IRL.  i work at bcbg and it's 50% off right now, and while i love the idea, the execution didn't seem to be there.  i think it has to do with the fact that the top comes in a skirt, so naturally i compare it to the skirt.  the skirt i find to be really cute because of the material (cotton), and the pattern (floral, duh!).  that seems to work for the skirt...


when i think of a kimono top, though, i think of silk or chiffon and a less "bubbly" pattern. 


i think if you like the pattern...get the skirt (also 50% off).  and if you're looking for a kimono top, get the one at anthropologie.

I tried to find it online to post in the "shopping" thread that's started every week, but it was not online by that time.  I will check again, but I did see it in the store in a couple of colors.


 


The sleeve shape is sort of like this:  Product Pictureand it has this kind of band around the middle (except less of it): Product Picture


It's in the exact same color scheme as my fave from anthro:  salmon with hints of peach and turquoise.  I'm a short girl, and it sits just above my waistband.  I guess it's meant to be a belly-baring top.  I wouldn't want to wear it like that, though.  I guess you would have to put something underneath it to prevent gut-spillage.
