anthro/urbn price difference on faryl robin shoes

diva pumps

$148

$130

They are the same company!!!!!  I guess they figure anthropologie customers aren't urban customers as well/are suckers!  I know I can be a sucker at times, but after the other shoes posted that were $50 more at Anthro than at Nordstrom, I'm starting to wonder...

especially since i'm in love:

the ritz peep-toes

$88- are these $60 somewhere?

snowflake sweater flats

i want some maloles flats but non-sweater

and of course this bag:

bon voyage bag

Cute shoes-all of them-can't believe that Anthro/Urbn are same company and yet Anthro prices higher

See now, this doesn't suprise me at all...so many stores sell the same exact thing at different price points...you really do have to do your shopping research.

Interesting.  I'll have to keep that in mind.

I get frustrated w/ the shoe listings on the Anthro site.  They often don't list the brand, so unless you already know it, it is difficult to search for the shoe elsewhere.  I am always calling their customer service to find out about brands.

i think $88 is pretty reasonable for those, esp. from anthro.

i just spent the last 1/2 hour trolling their shoe section--omg i am in love!  i never look in there, and now i know why--i think i could spend my next three or four paychecks entirely on shoes from there.

ANthropologie now has these at the same price as URBN - $130
The Prices on their site do seem to be based on whatever they can get away with though.
I just saw a pair of shoes in this cute new LA store, same as a pair on Anthropologie for almost $100 less!

Here's another example of Anthro being overpriced.  This doesn't really surprise me since I think that a lot of their stuff is generally priced $15-$30 (sometimes even more) over what it's actually worth, especially given the quality of some of it.

Kenzie boots.  $198 at Anthro, $169 at Nordstrom.

I like a lot of stuff from Anthro but I NEVER buy.. I think everything there is overpriced.. and I dont feel comfortable spending my hard-earned money there when it is pretty much a given they are charging me too much!

This is a perfect example.

my girlfriend and i both noticed that same discrepancy on the faryl robin shoes. it is a bit strange since anthro and urban are the same company. i wonder what is up with that?

as we all know i am an anthro-junkie and i realize that a lot of times you can buy the same piece elsewhere for less but for me (and i'm doing a little bit of defending of my favorite store here) it's a matter of convienience. i don't have a lot of time to shop so i depend on a simple handful of stores to do my shopping at. i pop in and purchase what i like within my budget. don't get me wrong, i love a better price, a bargain, a sale etc. but i just don't have enough time to seek out every piece at an alternative store for a better price. for me it's easier to just pay the extra 10 bucks and wear it tomorrow. it's kinda like zappos. i'll sometimes pay extra for the shoes but they'll be on my feet in less than 24 hours and i love that. that's just me though.

i work at anthro and have brought up the shoe discrepencies in meetings..I think most of the clothing brands are prices comparably (ie michael stars, velvet).

But, anthro price matches if you find the same item/brand/etc for less, so definitely keep that in mind next time you guys want something!

I just got those faryl robin heels from girlshop with the 30 percent off code last week! If you're still looking at them, check to see if the girlshop code still works!
