DESPERATE HELP, I'VE TRIED TO FIGURE THIS OUT ON MY OWN....

so i have an overstock.com credit and i will be purchasing some things from there.  i like the sheets they have...so i would like to purchase the bedding from there (duvet cover, and sheets), but i definitely don't have to.

here's the bed: but with Midnight Blue head board and no attatched tables.

this is the color of the head board, and we have Yellow walls, and colorful paintings...

what color sheets, duvet, and accent pillows should i do?

i don't think i want it to look too "Primary" so i don't want a Red duvet cover....

i don't think the bf would like a geometric duvet, but possibly...I HAVE NOOOO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!!

i would like to purchase them soon so i can everything done when he gets back from out of town in two weeks....

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

It's not an exciting answer, but I think I would have to go with white or mostly white bedding.  I envision a white comforter and sheets with your yellow walls and dk blue headboard...I would probably add another layer of color with toss pillows or european squares...maybe another shade of blue or even add another shot of color like orange or lime green. If you like the geometric print maybe just think about shams to add a shot of color.  You could also look to your paintings as inspiration for an accent color.

I agree with this.  Also I think a palette of grays/blues would be nice - it would coordinate with the blue without being as 'primary' as adding another bright color would be.
