Oh I'm so sorry! Not going to ask, but it would have been better for them to fire you so you can collect unemployment (forcing you to resign gets them out of having to pay unemployment too.)

I know it sucks, but everything is going to be ok! Besides, you could probably use a bit of a break...

Thankfully I have in writing that since this was a "forced" resign they will not contest my unemployment. So I'll still be able to collect.
