it's got velvet, the velvet is "English" according to J.Crew, so call it victorian; and it's perfectly lady like for a suit for work then out for drinks.....altho, suede in the winter in the city is never a great combo.


is happiness worth $168?

I like them alot, but not $168 worth I don't think.  I think you could do better for that price!

I saw those in the store last night and they are amazing. Except my heart belongs to the espresso...

I defintely think they're worth the money. What was holding me back was that I live in Maine and they are TOTALLY impractical.

i love them, but hate that the suede will be quickly ruined.  it's like they're a great practical shape/style for everyday with the low heel, but in an impractical fabric.
