Frye boot problem--what to do?
Permalink Closed

So, I just got Frye boots a few weeks ago at the Nordie's sale and they fit great (once they're on) but I have the HARDEST time getting my left foot in the boot!  It's like right around the ankle/heel area that I have to REALLY struggle to get it on.  I can't figure it out and the weird thing is that my right foot goes in and out just fine.

Can I stretch the boot at all to get it on/off easier?  Or should I get a bigger size even though the boot fits fine once it's on?  If I were to do that, would Nordstrom let me exchange just one boot for a bigger size?

Have any of you ladies had this problem, or is it just me?  What would you do?  TIA for any ideas/help!

I would really doubt they would let you exchange one boot. Maybe you got an irregular pair or the one boot was mis-sized. I would definitely call Nordstrom and tell them the problem and see if you can even exchange it for another pair of the same size (hoping they still have it).

did you get the harness boots? ime they can be a little stiff. i have this problem with the pair i bought. i've found that after 2 or 3 wears the ankle part starts to soften up a bit, making it much easier to pull them on & off.

though it could totally be a fluke. maybe go back to nordies and try on some more pairs to see.
