My nephew is turning 3 and I am at a loss of what to get him. He has a bunch of toys, so I want to get him something unique. He's pretty smart, and loves books, art projects, music, sports, construction stuff and fire engins... so really anything unusual would be cool.
I was thinking about a museum. He's a little young for regular trips to the hands on museum nearby - it seems to be aimed at a bit older child, though not by much... I'll have to ask my sis. They have mentioned wanting to stay at an indoor waterpark. Maybe I could do that.
Personally, I can't imagine a kid having too many books. Maybe you could get him a series, like a set of the Dr. Suess books or Little Golden Books? Maybe throw in a book from your childhood that you loved (my brothers loved Mike Mulligan and his Steamshovel. They made my mom read it almost every day.)
