I'm not proud of this, but I was enticed by a facebook family feud incentive for 10% off at shoebuy that would also give me 25 free family feud episodes ashamed

AND I got an extra 10% off for registering with shoebuy.

Our oldest car (ooolllllldddd) bit the bucket this week thanks to a mistake by a stupid mechanic - may it rest in peace.  This is our replacement - a 2008 Subaru Impreza sedan.  Low miles, and by far the newest car we've ever owned.  Wheeee!

Elle - They are Madden Girl Zeda Boots.  I got them at DSW.  I got them mostly because they were a good price like $60, and they fit my calves.  I have larger calves.  They are not leather, but they do not look cheap IMO.  I love the color and the fact that they are taller than most knee high boots.  If you like I can post IRL pics.

Would love to see IRL photos.  I was planning on going to DSW this weekend anyway so I'll check them out.  I don't mind non-leather boots on casual things.  I'm not afriad to wear those in rainy/slushy weather.  Thanks!

I have been looking for a transitional day-to-evening black trench. I ran to a thrift store on my lunch break and AS IF BY MAGIC I found...a NWT Spiegel black dressy-ish trench-ish long jacket. It's a cotton sateen with a slight sheen, you know what I'm talking about. The sleeves just cover the elbow and have a pleat - a box pleat? whatever it's called it makes the sleeves semi-poofy. No lapel/collar, side seam pockets. It's not swingy, it's cut closer to the body thus a little more tailored. $8.50. I looked for a picture but could not find. It will be just right with cocktail dresses. Squeee!
