My sister is having a birthday party on Saturday and is going to wear a black tube dress that raches up to her knees. She would like to know what type of shoes to wear it with and she wants to wear a shrug. Any ideas???

Its a Saturday night dinner. And she wants to be dressy but not over the top! She is the main guest though!

A few random ideas since I don't know her style:

Sorry if this stuff is totally random It's hard to find shrugs online now with the shift to fall clothing and all, but I'm sure there's more options in a store.  For the jewelery, I think one standout piece would look nice; maybe a long drapey necklace or a big chunky cuff bracelet or cocktail ring.  If she doesn't want to do heels, she could always do a wedge which still looks nice but is a little more casual.
