Juicy Parka
Permalink Closed

so i bought this Juicy parka last weekend because my bf and i were laying in bed hungover and had nothing better to do than shop online

that's part of the reason that i bought it.  the other reason is because my coat selection is in need of a cute running errands jacket.  i was going to get another north face (or like brand), but i figured this is more girly.  also, i figured sizes might go really fast...

my question is:

i know juicy is "out", but do you think i should keep it?  am i too old for it (i'm 24, not 16 like most of the juicy parka consumers)...i always wanted the juicy parka (years ago) but never got it...

here's what i am planning on wearing this winter when i'm running errands...

i have the whole outfit...should i keep the jacket?  if you ladies have any other suggestions i would appreciate it.  also, the fur trim hood is removable.  TIA!!!

I voted for keeping it. I think its cute and great for errands. I don't really care if "Juicy" is out. I am 25 and still considering some of their fall stuff.

i voted yes and i have a few reasons.

1.  i'm 28 and would get it.

2.  it doesn't say juicy all over it, so if the juicy label is your issue, no one will know;)

3.  i think that outfit is super cute.

4.  i've never been to chicago, but i feel like you would look really cute in the winter walking up and down the street christmas shopping wearing that jacket.

keep it! it's really cute and doesn't scream juicy at all. i think the only juicy that's really "out" are the sweatsuits.

Keep it, it's adorable. You'll stick out from the sea of girls wearing black or red North Face jackets ( me included in this group!) and will look super cute!

if it makes you feel better, i'm (almost) 26 and i bought the juicy puffer vest from last fall. so you're definitely not too old for it.

I agree with the other posters.  If you like it, get it.  I personally think it's cute and wouldn't care that it's Juicy, and I'm 34.

def. keep it. i'm only 21 but i am personally SICK of northface on campus and around town. I prefer fun coats that stand out and that is exactly what you got!

and while this may change, i truly believe that there are no age limits when it comes to clothing, it is all in how you wear it!

Keep it!  I think it's adorable, as is that whole outfit.  No one will even really know it's Juicy.  Go for it.

yeah i went to a private h.s and private college and EVERYONE had a North Face Jacket.  i do have to say that i have had my North Face Shell since I was a sophomore in college, so it was a good investment, i still wear it...but i wanted a GIRLY jacket, not a unisex jacket.

Thanks for all the opinions.  I'm keeping.  Since I think I was still drunk when I bought it, I wasn't sure if I should keep it!

I'm glad I'm not too old for it, sorry if it offended anyone wondering if 23 is too old to wear Juicy...as I don't feel that 23....26....30.....36.....43....etc...is too old to wear anything that one might feel comfortable wearing!!

I totally think that that jacket is SUPER cute and only wish that I (as a poor university student) could afford it. And for the record, I'm seventeen and if I saw a 24 year old wearing that jacket I would not think "She's trying to be young" or "She's too old for that". I would just think "Wow, she's stylish! (And CUTE too...)"

You are sooo not too old for this!  And Juicy although we would say it's "out" - I gotta say is sooo not out yet.  They still sell out in good styles, and people still completely knock-them off (i should know at my job - :P)

I'm 25 and I wanted to get one last year...
