I am in college and finally will have a big room- yay! I am looking for a cheaper futon b/c I will graduate at the end of next year and don't want my next apt. to scream college furniture. I like this one from walmart b/c it seems a little more modern, not as much typical futon, what do you think? any other suggestions?

also, this color, which i can get in stores, or pay $25 in shipping for the navy

I will prob have this bedspread, if it helps...

thanks!

The navy one looks great.  Is the rest of your apt modern?

I like the navy one with that bedding.

Also here are some from Target:

This last one is my favorite as far as colors go.

thanks- i think i am going to go with the navy. the first color is very drab. the only thing i am afraid of is that navy will show a lot of lint.. but then it will also mask spills so i guess that is better.

while i think the target one FP posted looks more comfortable, it also looks bulkier.. which i don't want. it is also more expensive! (190 +45 shipping)

leah leanna- i live with 4 other girls so unfortunately the apt will be more of an assortment of furniture than any one look. however, i personally prefer modern, sleek lines, as you can tell with the futon. the rest of my furniture (night stand and mirror, dresser, desk) is pretty simple, in a lighter colored wood, so matches anything.
