I think it would be pretty with a cardigan in an earthy color, with maybe a brighter color underneath. I like these:

I second FP's suggestions- I work at Anthro and we showed the skirt with the ls embroidered tee for awhile, and I adore the blouse tee- i have it in that color and get so many compliments.

i honestly think you could wear that skirt with anything- think of it as a versatile pencil skirt or a-line skirt, with a twist!
