SO proposed last night!

I got home late because I had an eye doctor appointment. He had bought me a bike with a basket for my birthday last week, and when I got home last night, he told me he bought me something that I could wear while riding my bike and told me to check the basket. Of course, I thought it was a helmet since we ordered one from the store. But then I saw a little red box and realized what it was. Very low key, very us. smile.gif Now we have to pick a date to visit the JP, get pictures taken and have dinner with family and a few friends (probably sometime this fall).

Here's the a super blurry iPhone pic of the ring. I'll post a better one later when I have time to take one with my good camera.

Congrats! The ring turned out great, the color is stunning! I'm already thinking about places for pictures and restaurants! I think you should totally do cliched Lancaster and find a covered bridge for some of the pictures. :)

Erm...no. No covered bridges. smile.gif

I would actually prefer to head down to the beach for the weekend, but not sure if that will work out or not. But if it doesn't, I was thinking of doing a photoshoot downtown, both outside and in some of the places we like to hang out.

There's a particular bus stop where I really want to have a picture taken. I know that sounds nutty, but it's the bus stop my grandma and I used to wait at for the bus when I was a kid. I have lots of fond memories of coming into town with my grandma and I thought that would just be a cool picture.

As for restaurants...I'm thinking possibly Fenz or Carr's. Maybe John J. Jeffries or The Cork Factory or Penn Square Grill.

The bus stop idea sounds really nice! Also, Carr's is owned by a my sister's good friend's family. The good friend actually runs the store at Central Market.
