I really want to get a great pair of skinny jeans for wearing tucked in this fall/winter. I've been seeing them in mags, but I was wondering if anyone has tried on a pair and would have any recommendations?
Also, cheap-ish versions are always a plus. It seems like pay $100 for jeans is a deal lately! But of course I'm always up for a truly fabulous splurge!
awhile ago i bought these cheapie levis at a dept store. (something in the may company branch, i'm sure they all carry the same thing) the style was called "nouveau skinny." they are great, and not so skinny that they look 80s tapered. this was last year, but i'm sure levis makes a current version of something like this? (they were 20$ and probably one of my favorites!)
I BOUGHT A PAIR OF JORDACE FROM WALMART BACK IN MARCH- THEY ARE SLIM FITTING - ONLY 15.OO MINE ARE IN BLACK AND I LOVE THEM CANT WAIT TO WEAR THEM WITH MY BOOTS-
I have the Seven Mias. I wouldn't call them "skinny" jeans in terms of runway extremes, but they're completely straight from top to bottom -- I am sure they would tuck in with jeans. If I had sized down, they'd probably be even skinnier. It's confusing, though, because Seven sells a bootcut-style Mia and a straighter-legged Mia.
I have also heard good things about Earnest Sewn's hefner (which are apparently a lot skinnier than they appear), but Earnest Sewn doesn't fit me well.

i'm looking for something similar and i saw a pair of levis like this (unfortunately i didn't get to try them on) but they were straight cut, didn't look too narrow, and were about $60.
For me, AE jeans really do the trick. I have a couple pairs of these and they are incredible:I'm a pretty curvy girl and they just seem to fit well everywhere. They're "good butt" jeans too. Best part, they're only $29.50!
