Definitely buy it in black. And i think you should also try a colored one. I've used colored mascara before and had good results. Now, everybody is different, but the colors I like experimenting with are purple and blue. I try to stay away from pinks or reds because I'm afraid of looking sick (which even a pink eyeshadow will do to me). So out of the choices of diorshow, I recommend Turquoise or Purple. If your lashes are darker, go with the Azure Blue. I tend not to see a difference when I use brown mascara...so I would go with the pretty blues. Hope I helped!
