I love this Banana Republic coat -

I love that color - have always wanted a coat that color, but it's $198 and it's described as a lightweight wool flannel coat.  Here's the link for more details:  http://www.bananarepublic.com/browse/product/324/product_324580.htm?cs_catalog=BR%5FTrans%5F2005&cs_category=2031

What do you girls think of it?  Do you like it, is it worth the money?  I live in Chicago - winters are cold here..do you think I'd get enough use out of it?

cute coat!  i would try to see it IRL if at all possible b/c i know it gets bitter cold in Chicago and since it said "lightweight" that concerns me...

also, i am not digging the duplicate pockets... something about it is "off" to me...  but i LOVE the color!  gorgeous!

Oh I would definitely see IRL - I would have to try it on for sure...just wanted to get your opinions

I actually like the double pockets, but I appreciate your opinion!

So cute! I really think that it will end up going on sale for about half off though. Most of their coats usually do. However, if you don't want to wait, the price isn't really that bad.

I think you'll be able to wear it. Granted, you may not use it much from Dec thru Feb, but I think it will work well for Oct/Nov, Mar/Apr and warmer winter days.

Oh thanks for reminding me that BR always puts their coats on sale.  I definitely think I'll wait, if I do decide to get it.
