Ok I love my Aveda products, but they are pricey. I wanted something to put on before I used heat tools and heard some good things about this but now I have to say I think I've found one of the best products I've used!
Now in reading the ingredients I think this does contain a silicone (Dimethicone) but I have course hair and it helps sooth it. A little goes a long way for me, so I think the bottle will last quite a while.
It really helped protect my hair during heat styling IMO, and then after styling I ran a drop over my hands and through my hair and it was nice and soft and shiny. I had less fly-aways and needed less styling product. LOVE it!
ETA: I got mine at Sally Beauty Supply but it's also available at Folica.com

I've been using the Moroccan Oil brand and I do notice such a difference in my hair. I'm happy to hear the Sally's version is good as well. I'm almost done with my bottle and will need to replace it soon.
Is the Sally version cheaper than Moroccan Oil? I used some Argan Oil from Josie Maran on my face this winter, but it gave me tiny bumps. But I would run my hand through my hair after I used it and liked the smoothness it gave the hair. Moroccan Oil products were a little expensive for me to try so a cheaper version would be great.
