me, I took advantage of the Nordstrom sale and bought some uggs for the winter (one pair toast, and one pair black that I can't seem to copy) $139 each, and the oiled leather should fare better in the snow than the standard sueded uggs:

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is this week, so I braved the hot temperatures and crowds and picked up a few items....

A aqua, orange and brown striped seersucker wrap skirt

I beautiful red glazed ceramic bowl that will be perfect for serving pasta

Those wodden salad tongs that fold over on themselves to store flat for my dad for Christmas (I already have a set and LOVE them)

A suncatcher thing that I bought too small and I will be turning into the wind catcher on a set of windchimes. But, since I liked the look of the suncatcher thing, I went back and bought a small hanging globe to go low on my 3 hook shepards hook to add a litte extra sparkle.

And, since I was already making over my 2 sets of shepards hooks, I got a new set of bamboo windchimes to replace my old ones that got icky from leaving them out too long into the winter


And a new bird feeder. I have bees nesting in mine right now, so I want a new one so I can feed the birds again.


And, I discovered a new antique store in my town, and she mostly sells vintage jewelry. I have a TON of costume jewelry from the 1920-40s that was my great grandmothers.  My sister used to play with a specific piece and has always been disappointed I have the jewelry. So, I found a VERY similar piece at the store to the one she likes, so I bougt it for myself, and I'll give her the one from GG. But, they had matching earrings, so I got those for myself too. Oops.
