how does one make a private offer

via ebay. i listed a cami that didn't sell. someone contacted me and wants to buy it, but i want to sell it via ebay (for both our protection). i thought you could do a private auction ( i don't think i can do a second chance offer since she didn't bid on it) but i can't seem to find a link for that. any ideas?

I don't know the "official" way - but my husband did this once & the guy just listed it at the price they agreed on buy it now & he went on in the next few minutes & bought it. Not sure how the fees work for that (buy it now i mean), so maybe you don't want to do it that way, but it's a suggestion. HTH
