Hello.  What do you all think of these?  I think I would like to get them.

What would you wear with them (common and unique pairings welcome)?
Do you agree that their lighter color could allow me to wear them in late summer...on into fall?

Thank you.

Seychelles, $120.00

To me they look like only fall/winter shoes. But then, I'm not used to boots in summer in general so that might be a personal bias that makes no sense!

I agree that they don't scream any bit of summer to me, but I can see them for fall, and I observe fall as the day after Labor Day, since that is when most schools go back and that is fall to me even if the calendar and weather don't agree.

And, I like the outfits Kelly posted.

Love Kelly's outfits (especially the first one!) I have a few pairs of Seychelles. I've found them to be very comfortable and to hold up well.

Love the idea of them with tights in the fall. I see chunky sweater tights, and chiffon dresses with boyfriend cardigans over them. Kind of mix up the softness of the dress.

I think it depends on your heat tolerance if you can handle boots in the summer, but I agree with your thoughts on the light color. Some thoughts:

I could see them with cuffed slouchy denim mid-thigh shorts, man's white v-neck tee or beater, and a cotton blazer, urban boyfriendish.

A maxi-length jersey skirt that grazes the top of the boots, plus tank plus long beaded necklaces or scarf, boho-ish.

A vintage-look floral sundress (red, coral, or greens?) and a loosely knit beige casual cardigan, funky girlish.

Linen shirt and olive or khaki cotton pencil skirt or cropped cargo pants, safari-ish.
