Yummy! Lots of protein and soooooo good. I just found them and they are great! I boiled them then tossed them with olive oil and salt. De-lish!

I love edamame! I always order it when I eat sushi. How is it sold at the grocery store?

I love it, and the fact that a serving is just 100 calories. when i want to snack i eat those. i always keep a few bags in my freezer. there's a japanese grocery store near where i used to live that sells it for 99 cents for a three serving bag. it's so cheap that i can no longer justify spending $3.50 for a small bowl when i go out for sushi.

It is also great tossed in some lemon pepper that is how they serve it where I work , and it is a great source of protein.

leah: edamame are soy beans. They basically look like smaller, hairy sugar snap peas. They're usually served at sushi resturants. They're slightly salty, and are soooooooo good when soaked in salt water and steamed. HTH
