My husband called and we'll be attending a Suprise 50th B-day this Friday night.  My husband asked the attire and was told "casual", with this group of people - casual means khakis.  He asked the hostess what she was wearing and she said most women would probably be in khaki capris or dress pants. It's outdoors (garden party) So, if this top works (hoping!) I would love to wear it.  I have some cropped pants that are just like these that I thought I could wear with it.  And my brown peep toe wedge heels (I love them!).  I don't want to take away from the top so I'm thinking of just getting some great earrings.  Has anyone seen any that would stand out and go with the top??  I don't wear much gold, just to fill you in.  So I would prefer Silver with turquoise or teal or another color in the top.  The thing is, I'll have to order today with hopes of getting them by Friday! Please help.

i think that outfit sounds great, but in person that top definitely has gold accents, especially around the necline, so i wouldn't pair silver earrings with it unless the dominant color in the earrings is the teal or turquoise...

That's funny, I had just looked at those after I posted.


I agree about the silver, since there's gold around the neck.  So I would want to keep the earrings more teal

I know you said silver, but these earrings are so pretty and the top (and you!) would look pretty in gold:



not teal, but the shells look good with the shirt
