After spending all last night and this morning debating on which to buy, I have narrowed down my selections. Hopefully these will be slim enough for me so I can add to my casual work attire. The color swatches is the actual color I have chosen. They have some really good prices on their overstock items if anybody wants to check it out.

I know these aren't trendy, but that's what is good about them. They are classy pieces that will be useful for years to come.
they look like good staple pieces, but i agree with halleybird. and it's not just the sizing, the cut from stores like land's end tends to be on the boxy side, which compounds the problem. i'd make sure you can return them.

I know you can return Land's End clothing at Sears (if you have one near you), so at least you won't have to pay return shipping on it. Hope it works out for you.
I have this Land's End chunky cardigan mock neck sweater in size small. It's a bit large for me, but I just wear it at home on cold days. My problem is that a lot of their items don't come in extra small, expect for petite (but then the sleeves are too short). So I'm not sure if they will be too large (especially chest area). But if so, no big deal, since I can easily return to a Sears store and will only loose out on the $6 I paid for shipping.
