I had been STALKING these shoes @ Cato for a while now, WAITING for them to go on sale. They were on sale on Monday, and they are NOW part of my shoe collection.doh

Oops, meant to say that I got this on sale for $158 shipped.  I hope I like it b/c it's not returnable.  I'm a little apprehensive about the color, but love HH bags.

Alb- is it a dark purple (hard to tell on my computer?) Because if it is, I really like it and think it'll be more versicle than you think. It'll be a great Fall/winter bag, exactly when you want a rich color to pop against the grays and tweeds.

Boots - Yes, it's a deep purple.  I think you're right about it looking good with greys and other winter colors.  We'll see!
