help me accessorize this dress

I got this dress on sale from Anthro last fall and would love to get more use out of it.  How can I accessorize it to make it look less plain?  It's got rutching (sp?) down the middle, but its hard to see in the pic:



I'm not sold on those shoes for it either, but don't know what shoes would work.  Ideas?

Ooh, I like it! And I've seen a lot of that style of dresses for fall. Since it isn't very revealing, I think that it would be best with delicate accessories (sorry, I'm not describing that well). So strappy shoes or peep toes or something. I like eggplant or raspberry with teal.

as far as jewerly I think anything would go. pearls if paired with something similar to the white shoes. Beaded necklaces for any of the shoes. anything goes.
