Slouchy Fryes - which color?! UPDATE
Permalink Closed

UPDATE: YES! I just tried these on at Bloomingdale's and I'm sooooooo psyched that they actually fit over my super-duper muscular giant calves! Now I definitely have to get these (at least after my ban). Also I was really impressed with the quality and softness of the leather. They will look really cool this fall. I already have a pair of black boots from KORS (they are lace-up stiletto, very pirate-y!). So which color?

Banana
Black
Saddle
Dark Brown
it's $450 (yikes!) but I know they would last forever. I am not committed to these boots, but just wondering what everyone thought.

Here's a picture from the Shopbop look book

They may be the hottest slouch boots ever.

It's probably best that they'll never get over my calves.

They're cute!

The one thing that bothers me is that they seem to be trying to be both cowboy-ish/traditional Frye boots and the more urban/stiletto-ish style at once. I don't know why that bothers me, I guess it's just that it'd only make sense to me to get these if you already have one of each of those more basic styles.

That brown color is delish!  I could practically eat it!  Seriously, though, they are beautiful!  I wish they weren't so much....*sigh*

i *think* someone posted those and i fell in love, but if they're the same ones the price is like $450ish?  ouch.  i could maybe do that price on a pair of classic knee high boots, but i just can't swallow that price.

*sniff sniff* Lilykind I am the same way. Even if they did fit me, they may not be slouchy due to the ample muscularness of my calves. wah.

I think it really depends on what will work best with your wardrobe, but I love the Saddle.

from my experience with shoes, i pull out my "cognac" and "whiskey" colored boots the most....which are like the saddle color.  i like that color because it goes with all shades of brown and wouldn't look horrible with black or gray either.

P.S. I'M SO JEALOUS!!!

I have saddle Fryes already so if I was going to get them (which I am REALLY tempted to do after the ban is over in October/November) I would get dark brown...so yummy!

YOU LUCKY GIRL!!!!!!!

I just saw those on the View and fell in love.  I vote for saddle (my fav) or black depending on which one you would get the most use out of.
