UPDATE: YES! I just tried these on at Bloomingdale's and I'm sooooooo psyched that they actually fit over my super-duper muscular giant calves! Now I definitely have to get these (at least after my ban). Also I was really impressed with the quality and softness of the leather. They will look really cool this fall. I already have a pair of black boots from KORS (they are lace-up stiletto, very pirate-y!). So which color?
Banana Black Saddle Dark Brown it's $450 (yikes!) but I know they would last forever. I am not committed to these boots, but just wondering what everyone thought.
The one thing that bothers me is that they seem to be trying to be both cowboy-ish/traditional Frye boots and the more urban/stiletto-ish style at once. I don't know why that bothers me, I guess it's just that it'd only make sense to me to get these if you already have one of each of those more basic styles.
i *think* someone posted those and i fell in love, but if they're the same ones the price is like $450ish? ouch. i could maybe do that price on a pair of classic knee high boots, but i just can't swallow that price.

from my experience with shoes, i pull out my "cognac" and "whiskey" colored boots the most....which are like the saddle color. i like that color because it goes with all shades of brown and wouldn't look horrible with black or gray either.
P.S. I'M SO JEALOUS!!!

I have saddle Fryes already so if I was going to get them (which I am REALLY tempted to do after the ban is over in October/November) I would get dark brown...so yummy!
