darn you, rosie! you planted the seed to peek at zappos sale stuff, and I ended up ordering them in black too!

 I also ordered these (I bought these last year (mid calf version, same color) and wore the hell out of them - so since my old one are all scruffy, and these are taller and only $43 I ordered another pair :)

I know ya'll are gonna look at these purchases and say "what's with all the ugly boots?". However, I do a lot of hiking, yardwork and such in the fall where I need flat boots, and very often I just get tired of heeled boots. Anyway, I think I may have to join Ebay Anonymous. But the fact that I'm ANNOUNCING that I just bought 3 pair of manly boots is a big step for me. Beware, this may make you cringe...

I've been hearing about it on the radio and read an article in The Washington Post today, so i decided to see what she has to say.


Plus a lot of housewares, house linens, and furniture for my new apartment from Target and Ikea.


I have no money for clothing, most of it is going into moving expenses.

getting the last of the shopping bug out of my system. i'll be on a hardcore budget until at least october, hopefully through november. too advantage of the revolve code and got some jeans

i'd been eyeing it forever. though i will say i was a little perturbed at goclothing. i tried to use a coupon on it (i've used a coupon on sale items from there b/f) but apparently they changed their policy. which is fine but they didn't tell me until after they shipped it and it's final sale. it was  a $12 difference, and i guess i should've known, but it would've been nice to have the option to cancel.

I went ahead and got this ring.  It was only $7 since I had free $10 to spend for sigining up for overstock.com auctions.  I know it looks like a wedding ring, but that's the point!  When I go out shopping by myself, I don't like looking single!

I know this sounds kinda weird but I have entertained getting a fake engagement ring because I almost always shop alone. I think it would stop a lot of guys from trying to pick me up. When I'm waiting at bus stops, on buses, at reataurants...someone has to try an ask me out. I've had a BF for nearly four years so I'm defintely not looking for dates from random people on the street. I even had a (really cute) guy try to pick me up in downtown LA while I was on my way home and he wouldn't leave me alone for four blocks. I think situations like that can be easily avoided if you have a ring on your finger.  


But that's just me...so take it for what it's worth.

Well, I've had family in from out of town and we have been shopping since Thursday (total blown shopping ban). So I did get lots of stuff but I don't think I did too bad for 3 whole days. Plus my mom bought a bunch of it so I really only ended up spending about $100 and then she gave me $100 before she left this morning - does that make my shopping weekend free? I guess so!!!!!

I'm totally in love with these retro / betty boop looking shoes - $12!


I still didn't own gold shoes, so I got these for $20 after addl coupons at Macys

Couldn't pass these up for $8



You can't really see the detail on this black tee but it has a fabric flower on it? hard to describe


Before they got here I embroidered this pinup on a white ON tank - inspired by the pinup tank in rosey's thread style picture last week! I was jealous. I plan to wear it with my choc brown shrug


plus 2 crinkle camis from Foley - brown & black & some gold hoop earrings I can't find for the life of me...
Whew. My feet hurt SO bad. I'm staying on the couch all day today!!!

I have gained about 7 pounds in the last two months from the new meds I an on and my clothes have been fitting me funny...but today I went shopping and everything I tried on fit....I am so confused...
