I joined in on the ballet flat trend really late because I had trouble finding a pair that I truly liked...well recently I bought a pair that fits and is comfy. I am considering buying another pair but I won't if they are a no no for fall. I was just wondering if they will last me through fall or if I should invest in a pair of regular flats instead. Thanks
I may be the singular exception here, but I have worn ballet flats for years now, regardless of the season. Granted I wear a lot of heels also, but for me, the only shoes that have a definitive season of wearability are strappy sandals....they just don't mesh well with snow or slush! :)
I think you'll be fine wearing them in the fall. I wear whatever shoes I want no matter what the season (even strappy sandals- I think they work at night for dressy events even during the winter, but obviously I don't go tromping around in the snow during the day in them ).

What brand ballet flats did you get? Whenever I try them on they just don't feel that comfy.
I bought 4 pair at the beginning of the year & my plan to wear them until they fall apart no matter what the season! I have company in from out of town & am all-day shopping for the 3rd day in a row - I will definately have them on today - my feet are tired!!! LOL
gingembre1, I have the Target ballet flats & love them TO DEATH. I know not everyone does, but mark me down as a huge fan. I have gold, silver, tan & black.

I'm really tall, so I LOVE ballet flats. For the spring, I have thinner ones, like the target ones, but for fall I have satin with rhinestones, black with bows, brown cordoroy, maroon, and will probably buy tons more. In my opinion they are the best things ever fashionable.
