I'm looking for some affordable wool or tweed cropped pants to wear this fall (with tall boots).  The only ones I've found have been $200+

there seems to be a decent selection on ebay too. or maybe you can get a cheap pair of full length pants and have them shortened? There are a ton of cheap wool/tweed pants from last year on ebay for practiaclly nothing.

I think I saw some in the latest Newport News catalog. I can't find them on the site yet, but they don't seem to have all of their fall stuff up yet. I think the pants were like a brown tweed or small plaid. Do you get that catalog?
