One thing the shopping ban has taught me is to re-assess what's already in my closet, and what I still need (er...want) to work with those items. Accordingly, here's my fall wishlist:

Here's my wishlist:

Anthro brown shrug (I tried this on but didn't buy last week)

Black knee-high boots - I have a casual pair (5 y/o) but am wanting a pair of point-toed, Diva-ish ones

Brown mid-heels (or somewhat strappy) - I spent all summer looking and haven't found *the* pair yet

A velvet blazer or two - more blazers in general

A pair of gray or tan suede ankle strap (or slings) to wear with black tights and skirts

A silver clutch - been looking and looking on eBay but the perfect one hasn't shown up yet

My anthro shoes (the origami heels) if they *ever* put them on sale!

One wood bangle (thin) to wear with the lone wood bangle I already own (I hate the idea of one bangle all by itself)

Probably two pair of Express Editors in stripes or plaid fabric. I have finally learned to stop trying on all these other pant styles that never seem to fit right, and spend some $$ on the Editors because they fit me like a dream and make me feel sexy. Even if I do think they're overpriced.

Um...that's all I can think of for now...I'd better stop because I am making myself want to shop, and I still have 4 days until I can actually spend some $$ !!

here's whats on my list:



  • plaid pants (anthro if I can get there before they sell out of my size, or editors)
  • silk skirt
  • anthro cobweb shrug- love it and I think it will be a staple
  • tweed anthro skirt w/ruffle back
  • velvet blazer
  • red round toe shoes
  • brocade pumps (newport news)
  • cowboy boots
  • purple tie neck blouse
  • wrap tops- not pink

my wish list doesn't change


*black mackage coat  i am patiently waiting for their fall line to come out so i can see which one i want


*a nice bag. the current contender is this mj bag.  i go through phases with mj i used to be meh about his bags, now i want one. i think it's because my neighbor got one and it's GORGEOUS. this is the one i want, but in blue.  i will probably save up for and see if it i can get it for cheaper in january. if not then it's not meant to be since i really can't see myself paying more than 1/2 price for it.
