Ya know what's funny about your secret? I avoid this show at ALL costs because it gives me the creeps. From the theme song to the actual story...I get freaked. I don't like to think about all of the bad things that have happened/are happening in the world.

I also think it's because I used to watch it with my mom when I was really little and now I am paranoid that everyone is out to kidnap me or something.

But more power to ya!

OMG nunzi, me too. I hate this show...it gave me the creeps when I was little and it still does to this day. Sometimes, I watch Golden Girls on Lifetime and it comes on after it and just hearing that music again creeps me out. That guys voice is so scary too! It's funny that you like it so much Jen!

oh man, my mom & granny used to watch this show & i was okay w/ it until they did this one story that really freaked me out & now i can't even hear the music w/o being totally scared!

It's that dang music! I get the heeby jeebies just hearing it for a second! Unfortunately, the same thing has happened to me with the Golden Girls/Unsolved Mysteries overlap...ughhh...I'm getting creeped out just typing this....

I love this show too! The music does creep me out too and sometimes I just can't watch it at night (I live alone), but it's just fun to watch. Made me very sad when I heard Robert Stack died

that show creeps me out so much!! It seriously gives me nightmares- I can't watch it at all.

ETA: also, did anyone else notice that John Kerry sounded like the host? they have like the SAME voice. That creeped me out too.

oh my gosh, when my cousins were little, they got so creeped out by a story on this show that after they saw it they were convinced their parents would get kidnapped. i remember being over at their house and babysitting and they'd stand at the window the entire night waiting for their parents' return--poor things! And me and my brother would try to tell them over and over that their mom and dad were coming back but they were terrified. note to self: if this show is still re-running when I have kids, do NOT let them watch it!!
