How can i wear this skirt without being too matchy?

I bought this skirt & think it's cute - i like that i normally wouldn't do pink & yellow together - I have several pink tees, a yellow tee, of course white tee, and tanks in all these colors - but if i do a combination of those colors, is that just entirely too matchy? I also have pink rhinestone thong sandals & yellow sandals - if I wore maybe gold shoes & straw / gold purse instead does that make it not so matchy? Or do I just bring it back, it's not too late.



my straw purse & my gold shoes are my target ballet flats.

Where did you get that skirt?  Its very cute and i've been looking for a short floral/tropical skirt.  My friend has a skirt like that and she wears it with anything- graphic t-shirts, high neck sleeveless lace tops, striped shirts.  It would be cute with a guazy white halter I think with the gold accessories.

I got it from a clearance rack at WALMART of all place for $3 - trying to decide if i can make it work or if i need to take it back, but dang, for $3, I can wear it shopping at walmart!! LOL

haha, for $3 you can definitely work it!  I love cheapie summer skirts because then I don't feel bad if they get ruined when I take them to the beach/pool/etc.

Ohhhhh what a cute Wal-Mart skirt! LOL And for $3.00, you can't beat it. I like ILoveChoo's idea also, pairing it w/an aqua or lt. blue, something out of the ordinary, but I think it would look very nice. Hmm? Another outfit idea for me?

I would pair it with apple green and it will look so happy and summery.
