Help me pick one please!

Such a hard decision! Ok well as far as the speedy goes, I'd say spend the extra $20 and get the 30. The 25 just doesn't look right to me. Things to consider tho, MJ is leather, whereas LV is canvas. I think the MJ isn't as common as the LV, since you don't see them EVERYWHERE like LV real or fake. But anyways, I'm still torn because I want both...the one I posted in your other thread and the speedy 30, so sorry I'm no help!

In my heart of hearts, the LV is going to last you the rest of your life...the MJ and its pushlocks may have to be shelved in the near future. But this is JMO and I'm biased since I own and love hte Speedy 25 you're looking at.

i'm kind of desensitized to lvs only because i see knockoffs (good and bad) of them all the time in the thrifts! (which is sort of gross to me) i think the mj is beautiful and classic!

In my opinion I like the MJ more b/c not everyone has it, and their aren't fakes everywhere. But I am also a MJ fan and not to big on LV.

I am not a huge logo person, but I completely agree that the LV is a classic; it's stood the test of time, and IMO will last you forever. It's gorgeous!

between those two bags- i like the LV and i usually hate logos. i can stand the speedy. I don't like the MJ- it looks boring and is knocked off a lot too. I think I have a bag almost identical to that from Nordstrom that I bought for $30. I'm not a Marc Jacobs fan though, not an LV fan either, but the LV looks like something that is more worth the money.

Personally, at those price points, I feel like getting a leather bag is more worth the money. BUT as it has been pointed out, the LV is classic. However, I've gotten sick of seeing all the logo bags. And I happen to love Marc Jacobs. Love, love, love. I wouldn't ever wear MJ head-to-toe cause I think I'd look like a 1940's time warp, but adding one of his pieces to any outfit can elevate it to a new level.

I vote for the LV because I think the speedy will be around a loooong time and you can wear it forever. I don't see too many people wearing that bag in my area...so I wouldn't have a problem with that. Plus, I would definitely spring the extra $20 to get the larger size. While the MJ is nice...and the leather is definitely worth the extra money...the style doesn't seem to be anything special and you could find similar bags everywhere and in a huge price range.

Get the LV. People who know about fashion can always tell a real from a fake. I think only people who buy fakes think that they're all fake. At least I, for one can tell. It's classic-if it was good enough for Grace Kelly and Jackie O, it's good enough for me!

I vote for the speedy...the MJ is nice, but MJ bags are so heavy and I think the side pockets will date the bag. JMHO.

i like mj and lv equally but i'd say go for the lv. imo in terms of longevity and wear you're going to get more use out of the speedy. the mj is kind of blah to me, and as lynnie pointed looks like the standard black bag you could get from anywhere. maybe my taste is gauche (or classless) but i feel like if you're going to spend $300+ on a bag it should reflect that fact and be able to stand on it's own, not just blend in with your outfit.

I vote for the Speedy. Like Lilykind, I'm somewhat biased because I own one, although mine's the 30 (I also say spring for the 30 if you get LV).

I also agree with several of the other comments people have mentioned; MJ's always look a little boring to me and as far as the logo/fake thing goes, the Speedy has been around for years and years so it's definitely a classic that's not going to go away anytime soon. For some reason, the logo on LV never bothers me while almost every other logo bag does.
