I don't know if anyone posted this while it was still in its season, but Veronica Mars is the greatest! I wanted to post this because its one of those shows that is awesome but people aren't watching (like arrested development).
Not only is Veronica a strong feminine character but she's so funny. The writing is amazing and the acting even better! Its one of those shows I got hooked on like I did the first season of OC. My life revolved around watching it.
I love Veronica Mars....it is the best...I love how she is cynical and quirky...strong femine character...plus I love how she dresses
I did not catch the show the first itme around but I am watching it this summer on UPN...bu thte crappy thing is that they are not showing them in orrder...sop they storylines are not complete...
I just started watching this after two of my guy friends told me how much they love it.
I can't deal with seeing shows like this out of order so I've been downloading the episodes. I hope I can finish with Season 1 before Season 2 starts! I'm only up to Episode 6.
I'm so excited. I downloaded all of season 1 and tried to ration them so I only saw the season finale 3 weeks ago. It is up against Lost but I'm hoping they have different audiences. Of course I like Lost too but I've pledged allegiance to Veronica.
I'm so pissed I missed the premier!!! I thought it started this week. This is one of my favorite shows, but what do I do? It's on at the same time as Lost. I already record Lost because I'm never at home but what to do for Veronica? I wonder if a friend would record it for me? Ugh - pressure!!
blubirde - do you have internet access at home? If so you can try to download it. Last week I watched VM and then downloaded Lost the next day and watched it over the weekend. Of course now One Tree Hill is also on at the same time. What are these network execs thinking! They're ruining my life!

I have a PC so I'm not sure if this will work for Macs but there are these files called bittorrents which you can download from websites and then you use a free torrent client program (Original BitTorrent or Azureus are good) to open up and download the file. To find torrent files you can just google the show name and "torrent" and sites should come up. I usually go straight to mininova.org where you can search for a show or browse in the TV category. Often there are multiple versions of the same episode so I just look at the ratio of seeds (number of people hosting the file) to number of leechers (number of people currently downloading it). The more seeds there are the faster it will be to download. Sometimes it takes a whole day, sometimes it takes a few hours. I just leave the program open constantly until it's finished.
Once you download the torrent file you just open it in the client program (BitTorrent or Azureus) and let it sit until it's downloaded the video file.
I've also had some luck with Bearshare (freeware like Kazaa) but they don't have as many shows as the torrent sites do.

Cool - thanks! I've got Azureus so I'll give it a try tonight and see if I can get last weeks ep to start with. I can't wait!
