i've been lusting after it for a long time now, and it's on sale ($149), but that's way more than i usually spend. i think it's pretty unique and very "me."

i guess the only thing i'm worried about other than the price is the sizing. i've heard bbw runs small, and i'm worried the large won't fit me. (i normally wear a ladies 8-10) also, purchasing this would probably put me on a ban for at least a few months (other than fall boots, which i desperately need)

so...?

I can't help with sizing, but I can help enable...

I think if you really really love it & have been lusting after it, you have your fall wardrobe lined up somewhat & there aren't lots of other things you want / need, and you really really feel like it is "you" that you should get it. I am so guilty of buying lots of cheaper things instead of splurging on one thing that i reall love, and I'm trying to buy stuff I really love instead. I don't know how much it was originally and how on sale it is, but maybe someone here watches her line closely & can tell you if they think that is the cheapest it will be?

I think it's cute & it will mix nicely into your vintage wardrobe.

I tried this jacket on in the store it is really cute, but I decided to get a dress instead.  I don't think BBW runs small.  I tend to wear an extra small in her stuff and I tried it on in a small and it was too big.  I am small, but chesty I would think you would fit into a large just fine.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  I say go for it!

well, i think the green is super cute, but i think the black is better suited to my skin-tone. (usually greens like that make my cheeks look even ruddier than they are and my skin look weird)

bbw doesn't run small in my opinion at all!  I'm a 4, and I wear an XS and in pants a S.  So you are either a medium or a large, but i'm sure one of those sizes should fit!  I love some bbw, some doesn't look so good in person.

so here is the jacket!

it doesn't looks as good on me as it does kathleen hanna, but i'm pretty happy with it! i don't like it with these jeans (i think they are too dark), but i'm not quite sure if i should pair it with black trousers or what else i could do. (maybe brightly colored pants and black boots?) i think i want to get the jacket fitted a bit more at the waist, because it's a little too boxy on me (but i think the medium might be too small)...

That jacket looks good on you! Doesn't look too boxy at all. I also love how you paired it with the striped top. Very cute.

That is precious on you - I love it. I don't know why, but I can't get the thought of red pants out of my head.

Erin it looks so cute on you!!!!

I would pair it with a print skirt and heels. I have coveted the green one ever since it came out but I can't justify it. You are my hero though.

I second this. It would be so cute/unique with a pretty printed skirt and heels.
You look great!

Honestly I thought it looked ugly on the model, (is that kathleen hannah?) but I changed my mind when I saw it on you!

Edit: Ok so I was thinking about what you could wear with it and I went through your threadstyle posts and came up with this outfit: Your white vintage dress, black shoes, and blue bag. So then I was bored, and drew a quick little cartoon of it!

I imagined it with a couple of these little bracelets.
