STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I just went to AE on my lunch break to try these on. The fabric is cotton and it's cute IRL, but as a girl with curves, I usually have no luck with AE pants. This time was no different, as it was too narrowly cut through the hips and butt for me. I did like the length, though...around midcalf. I greatly appreciated that since my shortness and stumpy troll legs usually look like they're wearing highwaters when I put on cropped pants. I think this needs to be tried on, but if you wear AE pants well you should get them.

I have last year's pants that look just like that but long and they fit me well and the fabric has held up over time.  I like the way things fit me at AE. 

Did you see those Zinc cropped pants at BP?  They're very similar style except charcoal grey and the plaid has some teal in it.  They're the ones that have a single pleat, like M said, pleats are back (!) But, it's barely noticeable and not dowdy at all.  I got them for 29.90 or something insanely cheap like that;  if I had that teal blake from last year... I'd be all set
