STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I'm terrible at going-out attire since I don't party much. However, I have to go to a party tomorrow night. I don't want to go, but I guess that if I'm going I should at least look like I want to be there. The party is at the Loews Hotel in Beverly Hills. The party is poolside but I refuse to don a bathing suit seeing as I'm basically saying hi and maybe having one drink if I can get away with it.

I was thinking I could rock the wifebeater with cami look, my True Religions, and these pink heels. Accessorieswise, I was going to wear my black hat with chains and pearls.

Or could I go super casual and wear a black French Connection t-shirt, with the TRs and the same shoes? I'd still wear my black hat and chains and pearls, but is this appropriate?

I'll take pics later of the outfits...but I don't know..
