Hey girls! Thanks for your support!

Nyla -  It was Exton mall... Which makes it even more frustrating.. If it were KOP, then maybe I could understand the attitude a little better!

NC - I did think about calling the manager, but I dont know if it is worth my time. I almost want to wash my hands of it and just forget the whole thing.

I'm glad to hear that this does happen to others and I am not the only one. Surprisingly, I really havent run into too much of this.. which is surprisingly, because I pretty much shop (somewhere) everyday.

And Christine, I did finally cut my hair.. LAST NIGHT, my friend did it. It looks great.. a little shocking. Probably took 4 inches off all around. It just brushes my shoulders with a few more layers that the Nicole Richie pics. I straightened it and it is so humid here lately, that it got a little "big" last night but nothing devasting. I think I am really going to like the change. And my hair feels so healthy! Thanks for asking!

What a classless guy!  I hate when salespeople ignore customers or treat them poorly.  Because first and foremost that is their JOB.  They might not like it, but it's not your fault they're selling jewelry at a mallrat-filled shopping center.  They're stuck giving everyone a fair chance till proven differently.
If people can't stand to treat everyone respectfully - why do they choose careers where customer service is paramount?

I'm not defending this idiot's actions or anything, but not everyone 'chooses' retail as a career. I was stuck in it until I found something else and I loathed every minute of it. I'm not a big fan of working in customer service at all.  But at the same time, I wasn't a jackass to customers just b/c of the way they were or weren't dressed.

You're right - early in the morning, not thinking... sorry if I offended.
Actually, I have met several people who absolutely hate working retail. But like you, they treat everyone with respect. My brother for instance - he has a degree from one of the most prestigious universities in the country and is currently working retail. He is frustrated and depressed about it, but he doesn't pass judgment on customers or act snotty.
So let me rephrase and say that employees should treat customers fairly and respectfully regardless.

Damnit!!!! I wish I was there!

I would call the manager actually. You are only helping the manager do his job- which is increase sales. The fact that you stopped in there was random (for us) and if he would have been nice, you would have gone back and maybe looked more often.

Stupid people. No class. Love you!

I wasn't offended, just pointing out an observation.  And I understand the early in the morning problem.  Mine seems to be extending into the afternoon today.

Totally Understand! I had an experience like this at Banana.  I was away on a business trip that consisted of being in the same area for about 3 days.  On my "day off" I entered the store in jeans and a t-shirt.  Hair in a ponytail.  It seemed as though no one wanted to help and they just snubbed me.  I decided not to purchase anything that day.  The very next day I walked in wearing my "normal" dress clothes with my hair fixed and I couldn't get the salespeople to leave me alone.  Everyone wanted to start me a fitting room! I decided to call Banana's customer service number and explain my situation, they were very friendly and even sent me a appreciation gift certificate.  I think you have every right to be mad and I would call the stores manager or if it's a chain store, I'd call the home office.  No one needs to be treated like that!
